Alex advises emerging growth companies at all stages of their lifecycle. His practice includes representing clients on data privacy and security, digital media, financing, corporate governance, commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property. Alex is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional, having earned the CIPP/US designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Prior to joining Wittliff Cutter Austin, Alex served as general counsel to a digital media tech startup, supported large enforcement investigations for the Department of Justice’s Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities task force, and worked on technology, data security, and consumer protection policy on Capitol Hill.
