Dan began his legal career in the Austin, Texas office of Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. , a preeminent global law firm. Prior to becoming an attorney, Dan was a Field Artillery officer in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Captain, led teams, planned operations, and managed many millions of dollars worth of combat equipment.
