Austin Monthly Selects Three Wittliff Cutter saba Partners for Top Honors
Congratulations to Wittliff Cutter Saba partners Slade Cutter, John Saba, and Jack A. Simms, Jr., who have been named to the 2024 edition of Austin Monthly’s Austin’s Top Attorneys.
The attorneys were selected based on votes from their peers, who were asked to nominate only those whose work they had personally observed. Austin Monthly then tallied the votes, vetted the finalists, and selected the top recipients in each practice area.

Slade, who was recognized for his work in technology law, heads the firm’s technology, digital media, and privacy practice, is an experienced technology attorney who has been providing practical legal solutions to companies doing business online since 2007. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
John, who was recognized by the magazine for his expertise in intellectual property, leads Wittliff Cutter Saba’s intellectual property team and, prior to entering private practice, served as a prosecuting attorney in the Texas Attorney General’s cyber crimes unit. He has also been recognized by Super Lawyers since 2020.
Jack, who was singled out for his work in civil litigation, leads the firm’s complex commercial litigation team. Before joining Wittliff Cutter Saba, Jack was a senior litigation counsel at DuPont, managing disputes for its Ag-Biotech and Communications Businesses. He was also a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Boies, Schiller & Flexner, where he, along with Wittliff Cutter Saba Senior Counsel Dr. Ian Crichton, secured a complete defense award on behalf of DuPont in a multi-hundred-million-dollar arbitration against Monsanto.
